About this mat
What it's made of, how it works, and how to look after it.
Fur off the sofa in one pass. The ChillPaw™ Pet Hair Remover Glove uses a static-charged mesh pad to lift cat and dog hair out of fabric — sofas, clothes, car seats, pet beds — and rolls it into a clump you simply pinch off and bin. No sticky sheets to buy, no refills, no batteries.
Why owners keep reaching for it
- Static, not sticky. The textured mesh builds a light static charge as you sweep, so it grabs the embedded fur a paper lint roller skates straight over.
- Refill-free forever. One glove replaces a drawer full of adhesive rollers. Peel the fur off and carry on.
- Double-sided pad. Mesh side for deep-set hair in upholstery and carpet; smooth side to finish clothing and delicates.
- Washable and reusable. Rinse under the tap, air dry, back in the drawer. Nothing wears out.
- Twin pack. Two gloves — one for the living room, one for the car or the hallway, so it's never in the wrong room when you're already late.
Glove vs. lint roller vs. vacuum
An adhesive roller is fine for a jumper but runs out mid-job and won't touch fur woven into a sofa arm. A vacuum is overkill for a car seat and can't reach into piping and seams. The static glove sits between the two: it lifts hair up out of the weave, works dry, and costs nothing per use.
How to use
- Slip your hand under the strap, mesh side down.
- Sweep in one direction with short, firm strokes — don't scrub back and forth.
- The hair gathers into a roll at the edge of the pad. Pinch it off and bin it.
- For heavy shedding, do a second pass at right angles to the first.
Care
Rinse in warm water — no detergent needed — and leave to air dry. Don't tumble dry: heat flattens the mesh and it loses grip.

Common questions
Can I use it on my pet? Gently, yes — the smooth side doubles as a light grooming mitt. The mesh side is designed for fabric rather than skin.
Will it work on a really hairy sofa? That's exactly what it's for. Velvet and tight-weave upholstery give up the most fur; loose knit throws take a couple of passes.
Is it safe on clothes? Yes — best on cotton, wool and jersey. On silk and other delicates use the smooth side with a light hand.
How long does it last? Indefinitely with rinsing. There are no refills, adhesive sheets or batteries to replace.
Three layers. No gel.
Most cheap cooling mats hide a gel pouch that can split. This one doesn't hide anything.
-
Ice silk surface
A smooth, high-conductivity weave that pulls body heat away the moment they lie down. Cool to the touch before anything is switched on, because there is nothing to switch on.
-
Cotton padding
The soft bit in the middle. It stops the mat feeling like a sheet of lino, so they actually stay on it.
-
Breathable mesh base
An open honeycomb underside that lets trapped heat escape instead of pooling under them. No gel pouch, so there is nothing to split or leak.

Every review of this mat, good and bad.
Why bother with a cooling mat at all?
Dogs and cats shed heat far worse than we do. A cool surface does most of the work for them.
Works on contact
Nothing to charge, freeze or fill. Unroll it and it's already doing its job.
Built for real dogs
Flat-faced and thick-coated breeds struggle most in heat. Six sizes so nobody hangs off the edge.
Goes where they go
Crate, car boot, sofa, caravan. Rolls up and comes with you.
Wipe and forget
A damp cloth. That's the entire maintenance routine.
Carefully Packed
Every order is carefully prepared and quality checked before dispatch.
Straight answers
We tell you what's inside each mat and which one suits your pet, even when that's the cheaper one.
Which size fits your pet?
Between sizes? Size up.
Cooling or heating?
Opposite jobs, same idea: no plug, no faff. Most people end up with one of each.
Breathable and zero-maintenance. Best for pets who sprawl out for hours.

The questions everyone asks
Does either mat need a fridge, freezer or plug?
No. Both work at room temperature the moment your pet lies down. You can chill the ice silk mat briefly for a colder start, but that's a bonus, not a requirement.
What's actually inside the ice silk mat?
Three layers: a cool-touch ice silk surface, cotton padding in the middle, and a breathable mesh base. No gel, no water, nothing sealed inside that could leak.
What about the self-heating mat, is that safe?
Yes. It has no cable, no battery and no heating element. A reflective thermal layer sends your pet's own body heat back at them, so there is nothing to overheat, short out or chew through.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the ice silk mat down with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry flat. The self-heating mat can go in the machine on a cold, gentle cycle.
