How it works
Sealed inside the mat is a soft, self-cooling gel. When your pet lies down, their body weight activates the gel, which absorbs and disperses body heat so the surface feels noticeably cooler than a regular bed or floor. When they hop off, the gel resets itself — ready for the next nap.

Frequently asked questions
Do cooling mats really work for dogs and cats?
Yes — pressure-activated gel mats are one of the simplest ways to help pets regulate their temperature in warm weather, especially for thick-coated and flat-faced breeds that struggle in the heat.
Does it need to go in the fridge or freezer?
No. The gel is activated by your pet's own body weight, so the mat works at room temperature. Nothing to chill, freeze, fill or plug in.
Is the gel safe for pets?
The gel is non-toxic and fully sealed inside a tough, puncture-resistant cover. As with any pet product, supervise heavy chewers and stop use if the cover becomes damaged.
How long does the cooling effect last?
The mat cools continuously while your pet is lying on it, and the gel automatically "recharges" after a few minutes once they move off.
